Incoming webhook to any channel. The URL is the credential — vault-stored.

Where to get it

Your own Slack workspace — create an Incoming Webhook for the target channel.

Install / what you need

No install. You need an Incoming Webhook URL from your Slack app (api.slack.com/apps).

How to connect

1 In Slack, create an app → enable Incoming Webhooks → add one for your channel.
2 Open the dashboard's Notifications panel → Add destination → choose slack, paste the webhook URL (vault-stored).
3 Hit Send test on the destination card.
4 Tune which CYCON states post to which channel in the routing matrix.

What Herald sends through this channel

2 setup fields

Herald hands every alert to the SlackAdapter as a DispatchPlan. The fields below are what the dashboard form asks for; the sample is the plan the adapter receives. The adapter renders it into the channel-native shape (Discord embeds, Teams MessageCards, PagerDuty Events-API payloads, TwiML, JSON POST bodies) on the way out — that wire transcript varies per channel.
